Forecast of shrimp production in 2020 of some countries in the world

The impact of the COVID-19 epidemic is reducing shrimp supply in 2020 and causing fundamental, longer-term changes to the shrimp market. Shrimp production in India is down at least 20% this year to between 450,000 and 525,000 tons. In Vietnam, the production of vannamei and black tiger shrimp decreased slightly than India, about 5-10% to 600.00-650,000 tons. In Thailand, shrimp production ranges from 220,000 to 250,000 tons. Vietnam shrimp industry growth forecast is still good

In which, whiteleg shrimp accounted for 70.1% (up 11%), black tiger shrimp accounted for 18.2% (down 15%), the rest were other shrimps accounted for 11.7%.
